3. Information We Collect

3.1 Tool Usage Data: NOT Collected

All tools on FIXR run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any data you input into our tools. Your data never leaves your device. No server-side processing occurs.

3.2 Analytics Data (With Consent)

If you consent to analytics cookies, we collect anonymous usage data via Google Analytics 4, including: pages visited, session duration, browser and device type, general geographic location (country/city level), and referral source. This data is aggregated and cannot personally identify you.

3.3 Local Storage Data

We store the following in your browser's localStorage (not cookies, not transmitted to any server):

  • Theme preference (dark/light mode)
  • Cookie consent choice (accepted/declined)

This data remains on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.

4

4. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only activated after you explicitly consent via our cookie banner.
  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): Essential localStorage for site functionality (theme preference).
5

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Essential (No Consent Required):

  • localStorage: theme: Stores your dark/light mode preference. Never transmitted.
  • localStorage: cookie-consent: Stores whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. Never transmitted.

Analytics (Consent Required):

  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*): Set only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. Used for anonymous aggregate analytics. Retention: 14 months.

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies and localStorage, which will re-trigger the consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

6. Third-Party Services & Data Processors

We use the following third-party services:

We have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) or equivalent contractual safeguards in place where required by law.

7

7. International Data Transfers

Vercel and Google may process analytics data in the United States and other countries. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), Binding Corporate Rules, or equivalent mechanisms as required by GDPR, LGPD, PIPL, and other applicable laws. Since FIXR collects no personal data through tools and analytics data is anonymized, the transfer risk is minimal.
